Description
It was a tough journey. The heat was very hot. The distance was huge. The harvest season had. Many people wanted to stay behind.. The Prophet Muhammad called the believers to move forward. And they did.
The Battle of Tabuk by Manarah Publishing. Part of the Battles of the Prophet Series. Tells the story of the last big military trip of the Prophets life. It talks about the faith, sacrifice and spiritual strength of the Companions who answered the call when things were really hard.
When news reached Madinah that the Roman Empire and its Arab friends were getting ready to attack the growing state the Prophet called for everyone to get ready for battle. With the super hot summer weather the long and hard journey ahead and the temptation to stay behind for the harvest thousands of Companions responded. They brought whatever they could to help the army of Allah.
The walk to Tabuk was like a prayer. The Muslims crossed the desert with thirst, hunger and tiredness.. They stayed patient and trusted Allah completely. When they got to Tabuk they found that the enemy had run away out of fear. No battle was fought.. The Muslims had already won something bigger: safety, friendships and the reward of truly sacrificing for Allah. The Battle of Tabuk is the story of:
- Giving up things for Allah even when it costs you a lot
- Listening to the Prophet in times
- Who are the believers and who hesitated
- Allahs promise that trying hard is never wasted
