Description
The Fourth Test is a powerful story about teamwork, responsibility, and leading by example. After forgiving the merchant, Prince Hayran asks him to explain the market’s biggest problems. The merchant points to piles of trash blocking the entrances and driving customers away.
Hayran quickly learns that the market workers are waiting for the official Sultan to be appointed before returning to work. He feels frustrated because he cannot become Sultan unless he solves the problem, yet he cannot solve it without authority.
As Hayran struggles to find a solution, Sa’fan quietly picks up a broom and starts cleaning. Hayran feels touched by his loyalty and joins him. Soon, the Vizier and the merchant also begin to help. One by one, the people of the market work together until the entire place becomes clean and beautiful again.
Through this experience, Hayran learns that leadership is not about giving orders. It is about action, humility, and serving others. This story teaches children that when we work together and take responsibility, we can solve even the biggest problems.
