The Prophet Muhammad said: "Be honest because honesty leads to actions and good actions lead to Heaven. A person keeps being honest. Tries to be honest until God records them as an honest person.. Be careful with lying because lying leads to bad actions and bad actions lead to Hell."
This hadith is a guide: being honest leads to salvation and lying leads to loss.
