The Noor Al-Quran Grade 6 Quran Textbook has 15 lessons that help sixth grade students understand the Quran better and connect with its guidance. The book starts with an introduction to the Quran explaining how it is divided into parts for reading and study so students can see the Quran as an living book.
The Noor Al-Quran Grade 6 Quran Textbook covers Surahs that help students with their faith and character. For example Surat Al-Hadid teaches people to try to be forgiven Surat Al-Waqi'ah talks about the blessings of Allah, Surat Ar-Rahman describes the happiness of Jannah, Surat Al-Qamar tells the story of the miracle of the moon Surat An-Najm says that the Prophet only speaks from what Allah reveals and Surat At-Tur, Surat Adh-Dhariyat and Surat Qaf talk about the day of judgment, truth and the promises of Allah. All these Surahs help students build a faith and think about what they believe.
The Noor Al-Quran Grade 6 Quran Textbook also teaches students about character and how to live with others. It uses Surat Al-Hujurat to teach students how to behave Surat Al-Fath to remind them of the pledge of Bay'at Ar-Ridwan, Surat Muhammad to teach them to obey Allah and His Messenger and Surat Al-Ahqaf to teach them to be good to their parents. Students also learn about the life of Abdullah ibn Abbas, a scholar who understood the Quran and he is a good role model for students who want to learn about the Quran.
Each Surah in the Noor Al-Quran Grade 6 Quran Textbook has a Surah ID card. The lessons are explained in a way that is easy for children to understand. The lessons are connected to what students do every day. They help students think about their behavior and character. At the end of each lesson there are activities that help students understand the Surah better and these activities make learning fun and help students connect the Quran to their life and their faith, in the Quran.
