The holiday began, and Tariq invited his friends to his house to enjoy themselves. They joked, played games, and laughed loudly. Everyone was having fun, but the laughter became too much. Suddenly, Muhammad felt strange. His heart was racing, and he felt uncomfortable and scared.
Mazen became worried and remembered the Prophet’s ﷺ fifth piece of advice to Abu Hurayra. The advice warned against too much laughter, because it can harden the heart and make a person forget Allah. Mazen gently asked everyone to calm down and take a break.
They gave Muhammad water and helped him sit quietly. After some time, he felt better. The boys understood that fun is allowed, but balance is important.
They learned that laughter should not distract a person from remembering Allah or caring for others. By following the Prophet’s advice, they turned a scary moment into an important lesson about self-control, kindness, and keeping the heart alive with faith.
