At first, he works very hard, carrying heavy bricks and building slowly but carefully. Then his friend Rascal the Monkey appears and tries to convince him to take an easier way.
Rascal suggests building a house from straw because it is quick and easy, and Bobby can finish it in no time. Bobby feels tempted and chooses the easy path instead of the right one. He quickly builds a weak straw house and goes off to have fun.
But when a strong wind comes, the house falls apart and disappears. Bobby feels sad and learns that rushing and choosing the easy way can lead to failure. With the help of Granny Willow, he understands that strong results need time, effort, and patience.
This story shows children that doing things the right way, even if it is hard, is always better than taking shortcuts.
